Privacy policy
Draft, to be finalised before public launch
This is our privacy policy in plain language. We will finalise it before public launch. If anything here is unclear, please contact us.
The short version
CheckAnyCandidate helps a human interviewer ask sharper questions. We store the minimum we need, we never build a behavioural profile of a person, and a human always makes the hiring decision. We do not sell your data.
What we collect
- Account data: the email address you use to sign in with a magic link, and the organisation details you enter.
- Interview content: the job description and CV text you submit, the claims and interview probes generated from them, and the notes an interviewer records.
- Free sample: for the anonymous trial we keep only a rate-limiting record: a one-way hash of your IP address (never the raw IP), a random browser token, and an optional email if you provide one. We do not store the job description or CV from the sample.
- Billing: if you subscribe, payment is handled by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card details.
What we deliberately do not collect
We score answer content, never timing or behaviour. We do not record keystroke timing, typing speed, pauses, webcam, eye-tracking, audio, or any biometric signal. We are not a proctoring or surveillance tool.
How we use it
We use the text you submit to extract the claims in a CV and generate interview probes anchored to those claims. The output is decision support for a human interviewer. We never auto-reject, rank, or score a person, and we never emit a hire or no-hire verdict.
Processors we rely on
- Supabase: database, authentication, and storage.
- Anthropic: the Claude API generates claims and probes from the text you submit. That text is processed to provide the service and is not used to train models.
- Stripe: subscription billing.
- Cloudflare: bot protection (Turnstile) and hosting.
Retention and deletion
A candidate is a data subject. We keep candidate and interview data on a retention clock and delete it when the clock expires (12 months by default, configurable per organisation). Anonymous trial records are pruned within a short window. You can request deletion of your data at any time, and an organisation owner can delete the organisation and its data.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you. To make a request, contact the organisation that ran the interview, or contact us directly.
